A bold new show is coming to Dallas and collectors from all over will be showing up to enjoy one of the first high end MINERAL shows in the great state of Texas!

The Dallas Fine Mineral Show is coming up May 4th - 6th at the Embassy Suites Hotel. The lineup of dealers, over 25 in all, features some of the very best dealers from all over the world. Collectors from all over will be flocking to see what these dealers have brought out to the Lone Star State. Much like visiting a fine museum, these dealers bring only the finest minerals for your viewing and purchasing pleasure! The notion of mounted minerals began in the fall of 1984 when Bill and Elsie Stone, owners of the Sunnywood Collection wanted to display several large specimens from their mineral collection in the living room. The specimens were large enough that they might damage the furniture.

They decided to construct a custom base out of hardwood to hold the specimens in a stable but artistic position. From the first mounted specimens came The Sunnywood Collection, providing museum quality mineral and fossil specimens from world-wide localities and carvings from Brazil. All specimens from The Sunnywood Collection are mounted on either exotic or domestic hardwoods or acrylic bases.

Welcome to Exceptional Minerals! I actually have two websites - The Mineral Gallery and Exceptional Minerals, and both are devoted to finding and offering the finest mineral specimens available on the internet.
