28.  2007 West Coast Gem & Mineral Show Report
Holiday Inn, Costa Mesa, CA

By: Brandy Naugle

Every year in the middle of May, collectors across the greater Los Angeles Area gather for the West Coast Gem & Mineral Show, in Costa Mesa, California. This is a landmark show for the Southern California region, and many fine dealers are in attendence. Produced by Martin Zinn Expos, "Spring Costa Mesa" (as it is commonly refered to) offers collectors of all expirience levels a wide selection of mineral specimens, jewlery, gemstones, and lapidary items. With lunch being grilled on sight and a wide selection of both retail and wholesale dealers, this is certainly a place where anyone interested in rocks can while away a whole day before they even know it. Justin & I were in attendence on Saturday & Sunday, and here are a few photos we snapped during our time there.
