I was particularly impressed by the color in his
Papagoite Included Quartz
Here you see Lisa from Antero Minerals & Jewelry,
I like to purchase silver hoop earings from them.
Whoa! And all of a sudden, John Magnasco.
John is a member of the BAY AREA MINERALOGISTS.
And so is Carl Acosta (Seen here in Dan Weinrich's booth)
I wanted to take pictures of this case of rocks
from the American Philosophical Society collection.
Not only because we have minerals from the same place,
but also because of the Benjamin Franklin connection.
However, I couldn't take the disapproving look
that this woman was giving me.
So many thumbnails in Cardinal Minerals booth,
I bet there is more than a couple shiny metallics!

The Collector's Edge allways has such amazing inventory,
it's easy to get confused as to what is for sale,
and what is a classic american locality display.
It even can happen to someone as seasoned as Dave Wilbur.
For the 2nd year, Dave and Brian Swoboda,
were all over town filming the
BlueCap Productions DVD series,
"What's Hot in Tucson".

This book was released by Lithographie LLC (formerly Lapis International).

Gloria was busy selling (and signing!!) books all show.
This was new for 2008. It was a multi-dealer set-up we were calling
the "American Mineral Treasures Contributor Booth".
The openess gave everyone a chance to really experience
the DIVERISTY of those within the hobby.
