The goal of The-Vug.com is several fold, but links everyone together; because we aim to serve as THE web portal to the internet for people interested in Minerals, Fossils, Gemstones, Jewelry and the related objects.

At the beginning of November 2005 The-Vug.com was transferred to the new owners, Justin Butt and Brandy Naugle from Zzyzx Minerals. Since those humble beginings in 2002, The-Vug has grown to be the most popular non-mineral data information websites, with over 10,000 unique visitors each month. No, those are not people looking up the chemical formula for Quartz, or googling a mine location. These are people coming to The-Vug.com for links, articles, video, and content that we provide.
